She gave me a scornful look before she walked out on us.

 

she’s really lucky that I wasn’t like my old self otherwise she won’t live to tell the tale. I’ve always admired her courage but at the same time, I feel pity for her because she’s going to regret it very soon.

 

Ever since I moved here, I’ve always suspected that she doesn’t like me. and after eavesdropping on both of their conversation the other day, my suspicion was confirmed.

 

she’s smart unlike the other kid who was so dramatic and wanted me to fill in the gap as his mother.

 

Unfortunately for him, he lost his father and I had everything transferred to my name. I left him on the streets to rot and I haven’t heard from him ever again. besides he was only a child so I know he’ll get over his misery. poor Miguel. But later, the company began to go bankrupt and I had to do something, that’s when I met Mr Myers. I realized that this was my chance to woo him and make him mine forever since he was a very rich business tycoon.

 

He owned the fashion world and having him to my name would be like winning the lottery.

 

I kept tabs on him till I finally got the chance to talk to him in that coffee shop. I worked my charms and before we knew it, we were already talking. he told me how he lost his wife years ago and how she meant to world to him and how his daughter couldn’t get over the fact that she was gone and move on. I sympathized with him and that was the beginning of our love life.

 

He began taking me out and asking me on dates which I gladly accepted. days turned into weeks, months and years before he finally popped the killer question.

 

I accepted to marry him and the rest was history.

 

But this girl is going to be a threat to my plans.

 

I need to get rid of them without anyone suspecting that I am responsible. but how? Earlier today, she almost caught up in my plans but luckily for me, I saw her through the mirror in my room and quickly covered up my tracks. and I couldn’t believe that she could go as far as telling her father about me. And who is that person that she says gave her a note today?

 

I don’t have any enemies neither do I have someone who’s a threat to me. Who is that person that knows so much about me and is willing to ruin me as well? I won’t let them succeed. I will get back at them and that’s a promise.

 

I won’t let her ruin my chance of getting everything I’ve ever wanted.

 

And I’ll sure to remove her out of the picture.

I can’t believe that my own father doesn’t trust me. Tasha is up to something and her daughter Denisha us just the same.

 

I paced round my room till I felt a vibration in my pockets.

 

I quickly brought out my phone to see a text message from an unknown number. I opened it and it read

 

“… She’s going to kill him, she’s done it before and she’s going to repeat it again… ” *

 

I quickly tried calling the number but it sent me straight to voicemail and when I dialled it again, it told me that the number doesn’t exist. Holy shit!!!

 

What is going on?

 

Who are you and why can’t you face me?

 

My head feels like it’s gonna burst

 

I walked out of my room and straight to the living room only to find them all seated on the dinner table.

 

“You’re here” my dad muttered the minute he saw me “Tasha and I are getting married this weekend”

 

it came as a shock to me?

 

“this weekend? isn’t it too soon?” I ask

 

“Yeah but Tasha decided that we get down with everything and I agreed. what’s the point of waiting. it’s still gonna happen any way” he tells me

 

“You’re making a big mistake”

 

“if Tasha is a mistake then I’m willing to take it” he said and I glanced at Tasha. she gives me a knowing smile and sat down next to him “Aren’t you hungry?”

 

“I suddenly lost my appetite” I say before walking out of the house.(Topster Stories)

 

I saw Chad the minute I drove out of the gate. it’s almost like he’s following me. “You?”

 

“Yes me” he says “Where are you off to?”

 

“How do you know where I live?”

 

“Let’s save it for later. are you going somewhere?”

 

“Yes I’m going for a drive”

 

“OK let’s go out together then” he said hopping on my bike. I haven’t driven with anyone before and it feels kinda weird. “I don’t have a spare helmet”

 

“Oh come on. I’m not a little kid princess” he said and I giggled “alright playboy. hang on” I tease before Starting the bike.

We rode around town, stopping to get ice cream and buying stuffs occasionally.

 

we took pictures and made fun of ourselves.

 

There is no dull moment with Chad. he makes everything better and beautiful. I was feeling sad some moments ago but I can’t say the same for myself now.

 

I love how he makes me feel and I’ve never felt like this for the past thirteen years of my life.

 

When mom died, it felt like she died with all my emotions, I stopped doing the things I loved and I never had a normal childhood. I stopped high school and I never had a boyfriend cause everything was scared of being around me.

 

They found it hard to talk to me and the walls surrounding my life was high and impenetrable.

 

It’s not like I can blame them though, I didn’t give any guy the chance as well. I was always an introvert. being by myself mostly and shutting out the world. But Chad is different. he brings out the real me and makes me want to try things that I’ve never thought I’d be able to.

 

He makes me feel different about myself and I love this feeling, the thrill and I want it to last. And I can’t believe it’s coming from someone who’s just met a guy in less than two weeks.

 

“You’re really fun to be with Amber” he tells me. we’re seated on the grass watching the coolest waterfall I’ve ever seen.

 

 

“It’s beautiful” I tell him completely ignoring what he said. but I kept hoping he doesn’t stop.

 

“She sure is” He says and I turned my face to look at him.

 

He brought his face closer to mine that it was only inches apart.

 

Before I knew it, he smashed his lips on mine catching me off guard.

 

He worked his lips on mine and it totally felt like heaven.

 

His lips tasted divine, I caught a waft of his Cologne.

 

he Slipped his tongue inside my mouth exploring every inch of my mouth. for a girl who hasn’t kissed a guy, I can’t believe I’m doing it so perfectly.

 

Chad, kissing me sent electrifying waves all through my body and feelings I never thought I had resurfaced tingling my senses.

 

He pulled away but suddenly I wished he didn’t.

 

I wanted more.

 

“Sorry princess. that wasn’t supposed to happen”

 

“But it felt right. I felt at home” I told him and he couldn’t help but smile

 

“I love your honesty Amber. I wish I didn’t have to do this” he tells me suddenly

“Do what?”

 

“Falling in love with you”he said and my cheeks suddenly heated up. what is wrong with me? I’m supposed to be mad at what’s happening in my life but he’s doing strange things to me.

 

What makes you wanna like someone like me. I’m a mess and I’ve got a lot of flaws ”

 

“Don’t we all?” he asks

 

“And besides you’re cute, flaws and all” he adds

 

“I’m not normal” I remind him and he let out a heart felt laugh.

 

“No one’s ever normal. I like you Amber and I promise not to hurt you” “I don’t know what to say?”

 

“let’s just give it time cause I know you like me too but this is all new to you and I don’t wanna rush you into anything” he said and I smile.

 

How thoughtful.

 

I can’t believe I’ve got my first boyfriend.

 

I nod and he pulled me in for another kiss. This time, I gave it my all.

 

I can’t believe that a guy like Chad would ever think of loving me but I guess I should give it a shot.

 

The kiss was was wild and crazy but I enjoyed every bit of it.

 

I drove home with Chad cause he insisted that he drops me off.

 

 

After exchanging goodbyes, he left while I got inside the house smiling sheepishly like someone who’s just been offered candy. .
