Crazy In The New York City – Episode 22

Celine’s Pov

 

I picked the fork and stabbed Adrian’s hands with it, he groans but fortunately everyone were already clapping so no one was able to hear him.

 

“Adrian stand up, it’s your turn” Jessica says. Everyone looks at him while I looked down.

 

“Me? I have nothing to say” Adrian says but Jessica wasn’t letting him off.

 

She stands up and walks to our seats, she pulls Adrian up and takes him to the center.

 

“Okay this is awkward….” Adrian starts with and everyone laughs.

 

I smile when he looked at me and smiled back at me.

 

“Romeo has been my best friend since I was a baby, he knows everything about me and he always knew I wasn’t the type to take love serious after my first heartbreak

 

 

which most of you here know. I used to think love was a curse to mankind until I saw that woman who proved me wrong….” He looked at me and I smiled softly.

 

“… I used to hate women, they disgusted me in many ways. Then there was this crazy woman who attracted me in ways I didn’t know, was it her craziness was it her innocence, I never knew what made me fall in love with her but I know am not letting her go cause am madly in love with this crazy woman and she’s my weakness”

 

I smiled when Adrian finished his speech, I didn’t even know when tears fell from my eyes.

 

I stood up and Adrian walked towards me and stretched out his hand.

 

“Can I have this dance” He asked and I nodded giving him my hand, the spark I felt was so beautiful.

 

He pulls me closer and slides his hand down my waist while I got my hands around his neck, the spot light was on us and the music starts playing.

I almost laughed when I thought about our past, who ever knew I would fall in love with the guy I despised the most.

 

Our threats and hatred for each other.

 

“First of all you destroyed my car, you threw a gum at my face, you ruined a billion dollar deal for me then you stole my house keys and made a mess of my house. Hmmmmm Miss Greene I have to punish you hard” I can’t forget this threat, if making me fall in love with him his is punishment then am ready to be punished for the rest of my life.

 

The music stopped and everyone applauded, Adrian had his hands on my waist and wouldn’t let go.

 

 

My smile turned sour when I saw her face smiling at me wickedly and the jealousy that beholds her green eyes. Everyone had stopped clapping but that was when she decided to clap and all eyes were on her, Adrian pulled me back when her partner came forward.

 

Adrian’s Pov

 

It’s been 10 years, 10 fu.cking years but it seemed just like yesterday when Julia broke my heart and shattered it.

 

She walks towards us and I had to pull Celine back to protect her from her sister who looked dangerous at the moment.

 

The aura became tense.

 

“Adrian…” Julia starts with and hugs me tight crying with her face buried in my chest. She was obviously drunk.

 

I pulled her off me and looked at her face, the make up was ruined.

 

“… Do you know how long have waited to be able to hold you and feel your cologne” She says and hugs me. Celine wasn’t comfortable with was going on and I didn’t want her to feel jealous especially not for Julia.

 

“Deandro can you take your partner” I said and pushed her off me so Deandro can have her.

 

I was really upset, last thing I wanted was to ever see Julia’s face.

 

I pulled Celine away and Julia grabs the mic.

 

“Adrian wait please” She says and I stopped.

 

“Most of you here where my high school mates and you all knew about Julia Greene and Adrian Vandermir, we were the best couple and Adrian loved me in a way no one could…”

 

Celine’s Pov

 

I listened attentively as Julia talked about the memories between her and Adrian, I looked at Adrian and saw his hardened eyes soften.

 

“….But I broke up with him, I broke up with him BECAUSE MY MOTHER

 

FORCED ME TO. The VANDERMIRS AND GREENES WHERE ENEMIES

 

 

AND MY MOTHER THREATENED to KILL ADRIAN IF I DIDN’T BREAK UP WITH HIM!!” She yelled and everyone gasped while Adrian lets go of my hand shocked at the new information.

 

But I knew she was lieing, mother never threatened to kill Adrian. I was present that day hiding in the bathroom listening to everything.

 

She asked Julia to choose between her career or her lover and Julia chose her career, there was nothing like death threats there.

 

My eyes swell up with tears as Julia continued her story.

 

“I knew Adrian won’t break up with me so easily because our love was strong and real so I had to use Deandro to make him hate him, then I found out I was pregnant for Adrian but the stress and heartbreak I went through made me lose the baby. I LOST MY BABY!!”

 

My sister is a good liar, yes she was pregnant but they got the baby aborted and I didn’t see any remorse in her face when she came back from the hospital.

 

She’s playing the victim.

 

Adrian walked towards her and each step he took broke me in ways I couldn’t imagine.

 

He pulled her in and hugged her and I swear it hurts me in ways I couldn’t imagine.

 

“Adrian I…”

 

“Shh” He interrupts her and holds her shoulder, he walks back to me and pulls me towards Julia.

 

“Julia it’s been 10 years and truth be told have forgotten about you and honestly I don’t wish to see or hear about you again. Celine here is the women I love and would love till I breathe my last breath. I love and cherish this woman and I don’t want to lose her…” He looks at me and takes my hand in his.

 

“When I was with you I thought I was in love, I was young and naive then, I fell in love with your beauty not your soul. I can’t live without this crazy woman, I am hers and she’s mine”

 

Adrian pulls me in and hugs me tight, if someone told me I can be this loved I would definitely deny it.

The party was getting tiring after all the drama and I just need to be home with Adrian, God I can’t stop thinking about him.

 

He wasn’t here and I have no idea where he is although I saw him talking to Romeo earlier.

 

I noticed Julia talking to three women, they kept on looking at me and would laugh including my own sister.

 

I ignore them and walk away but they decide to trouble me. The three ladies excluding Julia walked towards me and scanned me from head to toe.

 

“There’s no way Adrian would choose this over Julia, is he blind or pretends to be ignorant” One of the ladies says, she looked like someone I might end up killing if I decide to slap her.

 

I ignore them and decide to walk away but they stand in my way obstructing me.

 

“So you are the popular Celine Greene, I expected better” The lady in the middle says putting one hand on her waist and the other on my shoulder.

 

I look down at her hand and look at her.

 

“Are you crazy? You better get your hands off me now or else…”

 

“OR ELSE WHAT, you’re going to steal my boyfriend the same way you stole your sister’s. Cheap harlot” She says and rips the necklace off my neck.

 

It was the necklace the old woman got for me and this lady just rips it off and throws it on the floor, Julia was there smiling wickedly.

 

I kneel down to pick the necklace.

 

“Here that’s where you belong, on the floor at our feet”

 

I pick up the necklace and pull her leg, she falls down and I jump on her.

 

I pull out the grass from it’s root and dip it in her mouth, she muffles out trying to resist the grass from entering her mouth but I applied more force.

 

“You look hungry, eat proteinous vegetable” I said.

 

“Stop it, stop it” The other girls yell at me. They try pulling me off her but I growl at them and they move away.

 

 

“Oh my God she’s crazy” The girls squeal out. I look at Julia who was obviously scared of me.

 

Have been arrested 5 times, have been banned from a supermarket, I won’t let one stupid woman insult me.

 

“Celine it’s okay” Adrian says and pulls me off her, I push him away still upset. I jump back on her and dip more grass in her mouth. Am going to teach her a

lesson and next time she won’t mess with me.

 

Adrian pulls me away with more force and takes me distance away from her.

 

“She dared to insult me, I was going to let her go but she she….”

 

“Shhh” Adrian says and buries my face in his chest.

 

“It’s okay Celine, it’s okay deep breath” I pull away from the hug slowly.

 

“I need to clean myself up” I said and looked for the restroom.

 

Julia’s Pov

 

I walked to Adrian once Celine had left me, it was all my plan to make those ladies aggravate Celine so she’ll show everyone how crazy she is.

 

Have always known my sister to be mentally unstable and now she just proved it to everyone here and unfortunately for Adrian the lady Celine just dealt with is Adrian’s biggest partner’s daughter.

 

FLASHBACK

 

Sonia, Danielle, Chloe and I talked about Celine making bad comments about her.

 

“I really don’t know what Adrian sees in your sister. I mean she’s so ugly” Chloe said and Sonia scoffed.

 

“I use to think Adrian was a guy with good eyesight. I mean whenever my father talks about him , he praises Adrian and says Adrian is the best business partner he’s ever had” Sonia said and made a “hmph” sound.

 

 

“Wait you mean your dad and Adrian are business partners?” I asked and she nodded. I thought of a plan and decided to use Sonia as bait.

I click my tongue and stare at Adrian.

 

“Have you seen it or do you need more evidence, Celine is not a normal being. Today she’s dipping grass inside someone’s mouth. I wonder what’s going to happen tommorow Adrian Vandermir” .

 

I place my hands on his chest but he’s quick to remove it.

 

“You know Adrian there was a time when you loved my touch”

 

“Was Julia was” He says and glares at me.

 

“I know you still love me Adrian, stop this charade and stop deceiving my sister”

 

“Stay away from Celine, trust me I can be dangerous when it comes to my woman. You think Celine is crazy, you haven’t met Adrian Vandermir”

 

You can keep on going Adrian but one day you’ll pray for my touch.

 

Celine’s Pov

 

I sniffed and got the dirt off my dress, I looked at the mirror and sobbed. Their words hurt me even though I acted tough.

 

The fact that my sister was behind it hurt me the more. I still love her even though she obviously hates me.

 

I used to think one day she’ll be proud of me and tell everyone am her sister but she hates me more now.

 

“You know you kinda look ugly when you cry” Adrian teases.

 

I look at him surprised at the fact that he entered the female restroom.

 

“What are you doing in a female restroom….” I ask.

 

“Am Adrian Vandermir” He replies and kisses my forehead.

 

“I love you Adrian but am scared”

 

“Celine Greene scared?? That’s new” He says and lifts me up

 

“Adrian what are you doing, we are in the female’s restroom”

 

“Don’t care, besides I already placed two guys at the door. For now the female’s toilet is out of order…” He says winks at me.

 

“Adrian” I exclaim and he grabs my chin closer. I close my eyes and wrap my hands around his neck.

 

Our lips lock and move in a rhythmic manner.

 

“You know this gown looks so perfect on you”

 

“Yeah three point five million dollars looks good on me” I said with much sarcasm.

 

He smirks and hits my butt playfully.

 

“Adrian!!”

 

“I saw a fly”

 

I roll my eyes at him and put my head on his chest.

 

“Promise me you won’t hurt me Adrian”

 

He wraps my hand around me.

 

“I swear with my life Celine Greene. I would never ever hurt you. ”

 

I pull away from his chest but he grabs me closer and puts my head back on his chest.

 

“Stay here please, just 10 minutes. Listen to my heart beat for you” He says and puts his palm on my hair.

We got home really late and I was surprised to see Mary sobbing on the bed.

 

“Mary” I call but she ignores me and faces the other side of the bed.

 

 

“Can I be left alone.. Please” She says, her voice was cracking it was obvious she had been crying. She didn’t even go to club.

 

“Mary you can tell me what the problem is” I said.

 

“I just want to sleep Celine.. Please is that too much to ask for”

 

I could tell she was getting upset already.

 

I sigh and leave the room, am sure tomorrow morning she’ll be better and then we can talk.

 

I walk down to the sofa and lie down on it.

 

Today definitely had a lot of drama, good drama and bad drama.

The next morning I found myself in Adrian’s room. I opened my eyes slowly to see Adrian pulling off his shirt.

 

Why does he look so hot, God am blessed.

 

He looks at me and I pretend to be asleep. He smirks and pulls off his trousers leaving him in his underwear.

 

Next thing he starts pulling off his underwear. I closed my eyes but I really really wanna open it and take a quick peek but I don’t wanna open my eyes and see what’s going to blind me.

 

“Celine just peek and see what you are dealing with” my subconscious said to me and I listened to it.

 

I shouldn’t have opened my eyes
