Crazy In The New York City – Episode 10

Celine’s Pov

 

I stand up tiredly and rub my knees, I cough out loud and fall down again. The smoke was not doing any good.

 

“Celine are you in there” I heard a familiar voice but everything seemed blurry and I couldn’t make out anything.

 

 

The blast was all my fault, I removed the gas from the cooker mistakenly and the next thing I saw was my whole body flying to the ground giving me many bruises.

 

I fell to the ground and saw the smoke reduce, Adrian walked in throwing the fire extinguisher on the ground.

 

“You did this?” He asked and shakes his head negatively before carrying me up and out of the kitchen.

 

“You know your full name should be Celine Destruction Greene, you are just lucky this didn’t happen in my own house if not you are going to pray you died from the blast” He threatened and I got upset.

 

“Let me down, let go of me” I said weakly.

 

“Gladly” Adrian says and drops me down on the floor.

 

“Ouch fu.ck you Adrian” I screamed in pain and watched him leave the hall, now my back was hurting. I thought I was the crazy one but no, he’s the crazy one.

 

The fire had gone down and the firefighters were on their way, only few people remained in the party.

 

“Do you need a hand” A voice says and brings down his hand, I grab his hand and he pulls me up immediately.

 

“Deandro” I say and he lifts me up my feet carrying me bridal style.

 

We walk out of the party and straight to his car, as soon as he touches the door handle of his car, a hand swipes it away.

 

“And where do you think you are taking away” Adrian says and grabs me away from Deandro.

 

“Home” Deandro replies and pulls me to himself.

In one bigger pull, Adrian pulls me closer.

 

“Don’t touch her” He says, I could feel the intensity in his voice.

 

Deandro surrenders and walks away, I look up to Adrian and he knocks my head asking me to look down.

“Owww please do it slowly” I yelled out and Adrian gives me a weird look, he pulls my leg closer and uses the wool to clean the bruises.

 

“It hurts, please st…” I got interrupted when Adrian dips the wool inside my mouth. If you keep on yelling like that, Simon’s gonna think am doing something with

you so you better shut up.

 

“But it hurts” I murmur.

 

“I’ll apply salt on it and you would know the full meaning of pain” He threatens and looks at my forehead.

 

“I was supposed to finally get laid today but I couldn’t, all thanks to you. How did you even manage to blow up the kitchen, oh mighty Celine” He says and puts a plaster on my forehead.

 

He stands up and gives me some pain reliever pills but I refused to take it. I hate taking pills.

 

“Do you want this or this??” He asked showing me a syringe. I swallowed and refused to take any but Adrian using the advantage that he’s stronger than me grabs me and injects me, I scream out but he covers my mouth with his hand.

 

I look at him as few drips of my tears fall on his hand. I felt different and safe with the guy I hated the most.

 

“Shhhh” He says quietly

 

I close my eyes slowly and fall asleep.

 

Adrian’s Pov

 

Immediately she falls asleep, I rest her head properly on the sofa and carry the first aid box back to the kitchen.

 

I walk back to her and head upstairs to my room, I take a duvet and walk back down to cover her with it.

 

What was going on with me, I have never been this caring to a woman before. And to think that woman is Julia’s sister, to think I fought with Deandro with

this woman.

 

If Celine thinks her plan or whatever she has in mind is working then she’s wrong. I have a bigger better plan to ruin her.

I woke up the next day with different messages from my date, I sigh and block her number.

 

I don’t carry the same woman twice, women don’t deserve that.

 

I walk downstairs to see Celine still sleeping soundly on my sofa, I walk to the kitchen and take a bowl of water from the tap.

 

“Oh sweet revenge” I said and walked to Celine.

 

“Wake up Sleeping ugly” I say and pour the water on her, she sits up immediately and looks at me clearing the water from her face. I chuckle and walk out on her and head to the gym.

 

Today’s Sunday, Romeo would be coming over soon, we gonna first hit the gym, then race around in our cars before clubbing. Yes am gonna get laid tonight and nobody’s stopping me.

 

Romeo’s Pov

 

Jessica wasn’t giving me a good morning, she keeps on nagging about a text an unknown number gave her saying my life was in danger.

 

“Jessica trust me it’s nothing” I reassure her.

 

“That’s what you say but this person threatened you and Adrian, please Romeo don’t go out today, call Adrian and tell him about it” She says.

 

“Look Jessica….” I touch her shoulders calmly.

 

 

“Nobody is gonna hurt me okay, your love will keep me safe” I say and kiss her passionately.

 

She sighs and hugs me.

 

“You know I love you so much” I say and kiss her deeply again.

 

Celine’s Pov

 

I look at pool keenly wishing I could swim, I didn’t learn how to and I don’t think I will ever, it’s scary.

 

A car drives in, it was Romeo’s. Adrian’s walks out and they exchanged handshakes.

 

He waves at me and Adrian glares at me, I stick out my tongue and roll my eyes at him and walk back inside.

 

I couldn’t go to the kitchen to cook anything because I was scared, what if the incident that happened yesterday happened again.

 

I’ll just order pizza, I pick my phone and do the needy.

 

I walk to the gym and see Adrian and Romeo both busy on the treadmill.

 

Adrian’s mansion is danm huge and I wonder how rich one man can be.

 

“Did you lose your way” Adrian asks stepping down from the treadmill. I ignore him and walk to Romeo.

 

“Can we talk” I told him. He nods and steps off his treadmill.

 

“Guard your nose very well, she breaks it for a living” Adrian advises.

 

Romeo chuckles and we both walk out of the gym together.

 

“What’s up, what happened to you” He asked pointing at my forehead.

 

“It’s nothing. I need to talk to you about Adrian ” I say and he pays more attention.

 

“Look as much as I hate Adrian I have to do this for Julia and his mom”

 

“And what’s the connection??” He asks raising his eyebrow.

 

 

“Look I promised Mrs Vandermir I would help change Adrian in exchange for my sister’s freedom, but Adrian is making it hard. I don’t know if you can help me”

 

“And you want to change him, how??, Last time I checked your sister is the reason

Julia’s Pov

 

After taking some few pictures for media, I walk back inside and pull off my wig and my shoes.

 

“You’re here” I say looking at the young lady sitting at my mirror table.

 

“I wasn’t able to do it, I think we should go to plan B” She says. I sigh in a disappointed manner.

 

“Did you send the message already”

 

“Yes I did, to Romeo”

 

“Good” I said and give her some money.

 

“Do not kill anyone, I just want Adrian okay” I warned and she nods.

 

Adrian’s Pov

 

Romeo and I step in the club, as usual the normal deafening yells of desperate females.

 

“This doesn’t get old” Romeo says but I refuse to reply him since he decided to bring Celine along.

 

We walked to our normal VIP table and ordered the best wine.

 

One of my business partner was present at the club.

 

Mr Gregory with a lady old enough to be his daughter, I don’t know who is worse. Me who changes woman like ties or Mr Gregory who dates young girls.

 

“Good evening Mr Vandermir” He greets and we exchange handshakes.

 

He shakes Celine’s hand and I could see the way he looked at her, I didn’t like that.

 

Romeo noticed my uncomfortableness and swiped his hands away from Celine’s.

 

“Your woman is waiting” He says pointing at the young lady.

 

I had picked my woman already, she was pretty, with big ass but smaller boobs. She noticed I was staring at her and she used that opportunity to walk closer to me.

 

“Hey” She says and sits between Celine and I. I noticed the way Celine looked at the lady.

“Am Kira” She greets and yelps in pain holding her butt.

I smirk and stand up pulling Kira with me.

Celine’s Pov

 

Romeo keeps on staring at me waiting for me to say anything but I didn’t, I just sat there.

 

“So are you just going to sit there, I thought you wanted to change Adrian”

 

“Calm down Romeo I have a plan” I said and stood up and walked to the DJ.

 

I borrowed the mic from him and addressed everyone present.

 

“Hey everyone” I started. Adrian stops once he hears my voice.

 

I look at him and smiled.

 

“Adrian Vandermir is right there” I point at him and the spot light turns on.

 

“And he’s gonna be a father soon” I say and everyone exclaims.

 

I touch my stomach and look at Adrian who was boiling up, he walks up to me.

 

“What the fu.ck are you doing” He asks and pulls me down.

 

“Congratulations Adrian” Everyone yelled and Adrian pulls me out of the crowd and out of the club.

 

Romeo runs out too, looking worried.

 

“Guys I need to go, Jessica called me and told me someone broke in”

 

“I’ll come with you”Adrian says.

 

“No you have to take Celine home” Romeo suggests and leaves immediately.

 

“I’ll take you to the cemetery” He says and enters the car.

 

Romeo’s Pov

 

 

The sight at which the house was made me scared. I hope nothing happened to Jessica.

 

“Babe!!” I called out and heard her muffled voices.

 

I ran to the bedroom and saw her busy with her phone.

 

“Babe thank God you are here” She says and I ask her to tell me what exactly happened.

 

“It was a lady, she was going through your wardrobe and when I caught her we got into a fight. She is a trained fighter but I didn’t let that stop me, we got into a fight and I asked her what she wanted, I was able to stab her hand but she escaped”.

 

“Did you call the police” I ask.

 

“Yes I did. Babe I don’t think she had any issues with me, she asked me about Adrian’s address”

 

“And what did you tell her”

 

“I didn’t say anything”

 

“It’s gonna be okay, probably one of Adrian enemies sent her” I say and hug her.

 

“Then let them go for Adrian not us, I knew something was wrong when that text was sent but you told me not to worry”

 

“Look Jess I won’t let anything happen to you when am still here”

 

“But something did happen to me because you left, Adrian doesn’t value women, he doesn’t care but you do. You are married already. Romeo you have to choose between your marriage and your friendship”

 

“Jess it hasn’t come to that”

 

“Fine” She says and stands up.

 

“Where are you going”

 

“I need some fresh air” She says and walks to the balcony.

 

I look around the house for any traces the lady in question had left.

 

Probably she’s one of the women Adrian dumped.

 

Celine’s Pov

 

You could tell Adrian was pretty mad, he didn’t say anything and I knew he was planning something.

 

He stops the car suddenly and I felt my heart jump out.

 

Next thing I knew was Adrian putting the car on child lock.

 

“What’s going on” I asked and he smirks.

 

He starts the car and starts driving faster and carelessly.

 

“Adrian what are you doing” I said getting scared.

 

“Committing suicide and murder” He says and continues driving faster.

 

“Adrian please stop don’t this. Are you crazy stop it” I said and my ears became teary. Adrian has ran mad.

 

“No have figured out the only way to free myself from you is committed suicide and have decided to take you along” He says.

 

“Adrian please stop, stop this. We are going to die” I pleaded crying.

 

He stops the car and looks at me then starts laughing.

 

“I am Celine, I break teeth and nose for a living. So you saw death and you were crying, I thought you were shawn Michael. Adrian please stop stop this” He mimicks and laughs harder. I just sat there shocked.
