Nadine’s pov

Six f**king years and i still haven’t recovered from all that had happened.

But what was jeremy doing back here? Could it be that he came back to stay for good?

Oh God! That means mine and zoe’s life are at risk. I can’t possibly allow him find out about zoe’s existence. He’s going to take her away from me and i can’t allow that.

Zoe’s my world, i can’t loose her to anyone not even to her father. I lost everything once and i’m definately not ready to loose it all again.

But what should i do? If jeremy saw me at the supermarket then there’s every possibility he’s going to try and find me.

Think Nadine…….think.

Just then an idea struck me. I’m going to move from this apartment. I’ll have to find an apartment at the outskirt of the city that way it would be difficult to locate me.

But that means zoe’s gonna have to change schools. Gosh! How am i going to breakthe news to her. She loves her school alot. She’ll be heartbroken when she receives the news.

I looked at my Jewel sleeping peacefully by my side. She so beautiful when she’s asleep.

”I’m sorry baby, but this is for your own good”, i whispered and pecked her forehead.

She stirred from her sleep and opened her eyes.

”Mummy whats wrong?” she asked sitting upright.

”Nothing’s wrong dear, now go back to sleep”.

”But you looked worried”.

It’s now or never nadine, you have to tell her.

”Baby, we have to move soon. I found a new place and you’re gonna love it”, i replied stroking her hair gently.

”What about school? Am i going to change school too?”

”Yes baby, i’m so sorry for bringing this upon you. It’s for the best”.

She remained quiet for minutes before she spoke again ”It’s okay mummy, as long as you’re with me i don’t mind”, she replied and hugged me tightly.

”Oh baby, i love you so much”.

”love you too mummy” she said and went back to sleep.

Phew! That went well. That means i have to start packing.

Tomorrow is gonna be a long day.

Jeremy pov

”Am i speaking with Mr Brown, the private investigator?”

”Yes sir, you must be Mr Jeremy i presume” he replied over the phone.

”Yes i am. I have a job for you and the pay is really good”.

”I’m interested. Now what’s the job”, he asked.

”I need you to find someone, its really urgent”.

I described nadine to him and my recent ecounter at the supermarket.

”one more thing Mr Brown. This investigation must be a secret. No one especially my wife must find out about this”.

”I understand clearly sir. I have everything under control”.

”Good”. I said and hung up the call.

I’m going to find you Nadine no matter what.
