Danielle POV

I feel so stupid right now , I can’t believe I threw my self respect away just because I felt drawn to me .

He didn’t know what he was doing and I took advantage of it.

I shouldn’t have let my desires get in the way of everything I stood for.

I took a bath and wore simple but comfortable dress before heading downstairs to the kitchen .

Last night dinner was still on the glass table untouched.

Yeah that’s because we’re busy making out.

I waited for a while but Dylan didn’t come down ,I got tired of waiting and used the elevator upstairs.

I got to his room door and knocked but I got no response.i know he’s inside I bet he is still angry.

I twisted the door knob and opened.

Gosh the whole place looks like a garbage dump .

Am not sure am in the right room

I scanned the whole place and saw him squatting at the far end with his head on his hands.

“Erm breakfast is served” I said calmly.

“Go away am not hungry ” he mumbled audibly.

No I won’t am sorry for last night, I got so carried away with everything I should have stopped it when I had to chance ” I blurted out.

It’s my fault not yours just go away” he muttered and stood up ,

Dammn his eyes were damn red like he was actually going through a lot.

“You never got to the tell me what the issue is ” I said

“Please stay away from me” he groaned and move Abit closer that was when I saw his bleeding knuckles.

Something in me was touched and hurt ,I quickly Walk to him and took his palm .

His body relaxed into my touch.

“OMG you are bleeding how did you get hurt ?” I asked as I used the edge of my gown to wipe the blood away while I used my finger to reduce the pressure.

All this while he’s just calm , he kept looking at me like I got something on my face.

“Why are you doing this?” He finally voice out..

“Doing what ?'” I feigned ignorance.

“This ,why are you acting like you actually care ?” He asked with a straight face.

I don’t know you are my employee and maybe some day we gonna be good friends” I blurted out before o could stop myself.

You not mad at me ?” He raised his eyebrows.

“No am not am also at fault I don’t know what was troubling you so much but I won’t stress it if you don’t wanna talk about it, I want us to start over ,

“I want us to start over and get to know each other better .so what do you say ! Friends??” I said and stretch out my hand for a handshake.

He looked at me for a while then to my hand ,he took it slowly and shook it.

“Friends” he said not breaking eye contact with me.

I bit my bottom lip shyly.

“Erm how about you go shower and go downstairs while I clean up this mess” I broke the silence.

He nodded and took his hand from mine before walking away to the bathroom.

I look at his retrieving figure for a while before setting out to work.

I might be rich but I know how to do my house chores.
