Raymond’s POV “Nuella Bella”. He said.
“Now, that’s what I call intelligent”. She said and I smiled.
“Mom, uh there’s something dad needs to tell you about Nuella”. Davis said and I looked at him. He gave me a sign to tell the truth to mom.
“Actually Mom, Nuella wasn’t my girlfriend”. I said and my mom’s eyes widened. “Raymond, stop joking, I’m really hungry, I think we should go to the nearest cafeteria”. She said.
“I’m serious, Nuella was just a maid, she was Davis’s nanny”. I said..
“I don’t understand what you’re trying to say”. She said and looked at me.
“Nuella is a poor lady, she was disowned by her parents and Davis took pity on her and decided we help her”. I said.
“You deceived me, you both deceived me”. She said.
“It’s not like that Mom, I wasn’t ready to marry but you tried to force me to do something I don’t want to do, I’m not easily attracted to girls”. I said and she picked her bag.
“If Nuella was a rich girl, I’ll advice you to marry her but since she’s poor, don’t bother looking for her, she’s a poor girl”. My mom said and Davis felt hurt. “She’s poor but she has her integrity”. Davis said
“And you little boy, what do you know about integrity, what do you know about being poor? You’ve never experienced it so I don’t think you’ll understand it’s meaning”. She said.
“Mom, they’re humans like us and not meant to be treated like trash”. He said. “Well, I’ve seen your and your dad have gone nuts”. She said and left angrily. “Dad” Davis said and turned to look at me.
I hugged him and kissed him in the cheek. “I have a feeling if I and Nuella are meant to be, she’ll definitely come back for us”. I said and he nodded.
“I loved how you stood up to my mother, I wish she can see that they shouldn’t be treated like trash”. I said and he smiled.
“I love you dad” he said. “I love you too”. I replied.

Davis’s POV
I ran to my room and erased everything in the diary, sometimes you just have to let go of your past and concentrate on the future. Sometimes you just need to give up on working to make your past shine, it’s worthless, focus on the future so you won’t make the same mistake in the past.
I squeezed all the papers and threw them into the trash bin, then I took a pencil and began writing a new one.
“Behold, a new chapter has begun My dad loves me
And it’s like everyone around me loves me. I’ll be starting school soon,
I hope to see Cinderella (Nuella) Marrying my dad”
I closed the diary and dropped it on the bed. Nuella’s POV
The opened and it was like I was waiting for minutes or I’d say years… I was facing my dad, my biological father not just any man.
He stood up and began running towards me.
“Ohh father”. I said and started running towards me. We both hugged each other and it was like everything around me sparkled.
“Zehra”. He said and I smiled.
I withdrew from his grip. “Dad, I uhh will prefer if you call me Nuella”. I said and he nodded smiling.
“Yes my beautiful daughter, I’m really sorry, I’ve offended you a lot”. He said. “I don’t remember but I forgive you, who am I not to forgive you when the Lord forgives us of all our sins knowingly or unknowingly”. I asked and he laughed. “You’re exactly like my wife, your mother”. He said and Almet joined us.
“Did I miss something?”. He asked.
“Yes, a father and daughter reunion”. I replied and we chuckled. “So how was my mother like?”. I asked.
“She was beautiful, had a blonde hair and of course, she was the idol I always worshipped”. He said and I smiled.
“She looked exactly like you”. He added and I chuckled. “She must be really pretty”. I said and he nodded.
“We were childhood lovers, remember those days when we were still young in school, I would fight a number of guys just to win her heart, I was really courageous”. He said and Almet chuckled softly.
“I guess I took after you, I’m courageous also”. Almet said.
“I’m really happy to be reunited with both of you, I thought I lost you guys”. Almet added.
“No, you didn’t”. I replied.
“I’m going to make sure you’re well educated with fluent English, I’m going to make sure you’re rich Nuella even more than Raymond and then you can stand up to his family and fight for your love, I’m going to make sure of all of that”. I said and he nodded.
“Thanks Almet, I can count on you”. I replied and grinned on the thought of being wealthy..
