Episode 36

 

 

Kierra’s POV

 

 

After what happened last night I don’t know what to do anymore.

 

 

I just nearly had sex with Killian last night and then am going to meet up with Danny today?

 

 

What does that make me then?

 

What will Killian think?

 

I have to tell him everything about myself before it is too late.

 

 

I can’t afford to let him find out by himself.

 

I quietly remove his hand from my waist and go inside the bathroom.

 

 

I brush my teeth then strip out of my clothes to shower.

 

I mix my bath and step inside the bathtub,the lavender oil scent fill my noise as I sniff in the scent.

 

 

I sat there motionless for some minutes before running my hands on my body.

 

 

I keep playing with the water.

 

 

“You gotta be fast I got a meeting this morning” Killian yelled from inside the room.

 

 

“Okay,will be through soon” I yelled back.

 

 

I quickly got out of the bathtub and turn on the shower.

 

 

After raising my body I tied a towel around my chest before stepping out of the bathroom.

 

 

“Good morning babe” I greeted Killian.

 

 

“Good morning sweetheart,how was your night? He asked.

 

 

“Calm with you by my side.” I replied and he blushed.

 

 

“I will accept that complement but first I gotta take my bath,we are running late.” he said before rushing inside the bathroom.

 

I laughed at his dramatic sighs .

 

I sat down before my dressing mirror and clean my face with my hand towel.

 

Then I walk inside my closet to get what to wear.

 

 

I picked out a white shirt and a purple jacket with white straps for Killian.

 

Whenever he’s gon’ stay overnight he always bring an extra cloth.

 

 

I picked out my dress and quickly wear it before going back inside the room.

 

 

Killian came out of the bathroom and stare at me.

 

 

“You look absolutely beautiful this morning my badass girl.” he said.

 

 

“Well thank you.” I replied as I drop his cloth on the bed and sat in front of the mirror applying my makeup on.

 

 

Killian went inside the closet and quickly wore his clothes while I finished the touch up on my makeup.

 

 

I picked up my handbag and turned to face him.

 

 

“Baby,I really want to discuss something important with you.” I said and he looked up to face me.

 

 

“Something important? It can wait sweetheart,after the meeting you can tell me about it.” He said.

 

 

“Okay then.”I said as we climb downstairs.

 

 

The drive to the office was hectic with me battling with my inner thoughts on how to tell Killian everything he have to know.

 

 

I sigh in frustration as I hit my hand on my car wheel.

 

 

I stare at the road and heaved a big sigh.

 

 

Fuck it!

 

 

Why is it that when I wanna be happy and do things right my past keep threatening it?

 

 

Why is it that things have to be like this?

 

What if I tell him and he doesn’t wanna have anything to do with me again?

 

 

What will I do when that happens?

 

I can’t afford to lose Killian,even if we break up I still wanna be friends with him because he is a good man.

 

 

A good man who knows how to treat his woman right,how to make someone happy,a man who change the most awkward situation into a hilarious one.

 

 

I can’t afford to lose that good man even if I have to fight for it.

 

 

I got to the company and parked my car I the parking lot,Killian’s car is already there so I walk inside the company to get prepared for the meeting.

 

 

I walk towards my desk and pock up my iPod and my notebook with my pen before knocking on the door of Killian’s office.

 

 

 

“Come in.” His voiced from the room.

 

 

I went inside and closed the door behind me.

 

 

“We gotta go,they are here already.” I said and he stood up from his chair.

 

 

We walk inside the elevator and made our way to the fifteenth floor where the conference room is.

 

 

We walk inside the conference room and took our seat then the meeting starts.

 

 

The meeting was really tough with the project team giving out terms of the ongoing project.

 

 

The meeting ends late after lunch but I was determined to see Danny today.

 

 

After going back inside Killian’s office I sat down on the chair and he dropped his pen on the table.

 

 

“Okay babe,what is the important thing you wanna say? He asked

 

 

“I….I want to tell you about…..about”

 

 

“What’s with the about about,why are you stuttering? He asked.

 

 

“I want to tell you about my past Killian,about how my life was” I said

 

 

“Okay am listening.” He said and I gulp down.

 

 

“I was a stripper” I said and he arched his eyebrow.

 

 

“Hmm”

 

 

“Did you hear what I just said? I asked and he smiled.

 

 

“Do you even know me at all babe? He asked.

 

 

“Before I employ anyone inside my company I’ll know everything about their past” he added.

 

 

“So you knew? I asked

 

 

“Why did I call you my ‘ badass girl’ in the morning? I know babe and am okay with it” he said and I opened my mouth in disbelieve.

 

 

“Thank you babe” I muttered.

 

 

“I’ll go have my lunch now” I said before leaving the office.

 

 

I sent Danny a text to meet me up in the nearest restaurant.

 

 

I drove there and he was waiting already.

 

“Hi” he greeted

 

 

“Hi Danny” I don’t know why anytime I hear or see him there is this stupid butterflies I feel in my stomach.

 

 

I sat down in front of him and he smiled.

 

 

“Good day sir and madam,here is the menu please tell me what you want” the waitress said.

 

 

“Just get fried rice and chicken” I said.

 

“Sir?

 

 

“Get me the same thing she ordered” he said.

 

 

“What do you wanna talk about Danny? I asked.

 

 

He stood up from his chair and go down on his knees holding my hand.

 

 

“I know that I treated you so badly Kierra, I wasn’t there to understand how you feel.

 

I was rude,arrogant and did all sort of bad things to you,I call you names and abuse your stand as a woman but have changed.

 

 

I really changed Kierra and I realized how awesome you are,I now realize how precious you are to me.

 

 

I know that you have a boyfriend now and that you probably hate me but please.

 

Please give me a second chance.

 

 

Can you please accept me back? He asked.
