Episode two
Sierra POV
I went inside the room and met Kierra sleeping.
She is such a troublesome girl.
I covered her with the duvet and lay beside her.
I have been holding it for long now I don’t know when my final chance will be.
I have been suffering from hepatitis B for some months now.
The medicine I was using to suppress it is no longer working.
There’s no money for my treatment,how am I going to tell mom that am sick and in need of help as soon as possible or I may die?
No I can’t, that will surely give mom a heart attack and I can’t stand it.
I cuddle Kierra to myself , I just want to stay with you sis.
I don’t want to die yet.
I put out the lamp and slept off too.
NEXT MORNING
“Good morning softie” Kierra greeted coming over to the bed all dressed.
“Good morning why are you all dressed? Are you following mom to sell on the road side today? I asked
“Silly, I am going out to look for a job get your ass up and wash yourself so we can go” she said and walk out.
Am getting scolded again by my younger sister again.
I stood up from the bed and went out to fetch myself water.
After bathing I wore the most decent cloth that I have and pack my hair up after which I went out to meet Kierra.
“Kierra what makes you think that today will be any different?
We have been doing this as a daily routine for many years now seriously i am tired. I can’t do this anymore, people now make fun of us as if we are the cause of our unemployment” I said bitterly.
“You talk too much, please don’t infect me with your lost hope and let’s go back to that company” she replied pointing at the company in front of us.
I closed my eyes and opened them before we went in.
We are just trying for nothing, this place won’t be any different.
We went in and met the receptionist.
“Hi” we both greeted her.
She looked at us as they normally do.
“Hello, how may I help you? She asked looking at us with disgust.
“Ma’am please we are graduates, we want to know if there is space in your company for employment” I said quickly before Kierra can.
“Am sorry young ladies but we don’t want new employees as of Now, please try somewhere else” she said politely and I nodded.
I dragged Kierra out of the company amidst her fight.
“What was that for huh? She asked
“What is was for is for you not to cause any ruckus like you used to” I replied and walk away.
I walk for a little distance from where I was standing with Kierra when I felt a sharp pain in my abdomen.
Before I could think, i found myself on the ground.
“Sierra, Sierra!! I heard Kierra yelled but I couldn’t speak.
Damn it , it is time already?
Kierra POV
I stare at the motionless body in my hand .
What is wrong with Sierra?
“Somebody help me” I cried out.
People came and gathered around us.
“Oh my, please call the ambulance” I yelled.
After ten minutes an ambulance came and took Sierra while I followed her struggling with tears.
What is wrong with her is she suffering from any disease?
We arrived at the hospital and she was take to the emergency room while I wait eagerly outside pacing around the corridor.
Thirty minutes later the nurse informed me that the doctor want to see me.
I followed her nervously, this is bad I can feel it.
I enter the doctor’s office and sat down
He looked up and smile.
“You both are really identical” he said.
“Sir what is wrong with Sierra? I asked
“Your sister is suffering from hepatitis B, and right now its about to enter C placing her in a very dangerous situation” the doctor said and my heart skipped
Hepatitis B? Dangerous situation?
“We can commence treatment on her but you need to make a deposit of $100,000” he said and I shouted
“Where am I going to find that amount of money? Even if we sell everything we own it won’t level up to that amount” I cried
“There’s nothing I can do more than the one I have done miss, now if you can excuse me” he said and face his computer.
I stood up from the chair and went to Sierra’s ward.
I opened the door and went in, she was sleeping when I got there.

I sat beside her and caress her hair.
“You were in pain but never let me know?
Why did you prefer to hide things from me? I asked “Where am I going to find the morning for your treatment? I’ll not let anything happen to you sis, that’s a promise.
I stood up and went out of the ward, at least I need to inform mom.
I went to where mom is selling her snack,immediately she saw me alone she walk towards me.
“Kierra where is your sister? She asked and I broke down in tears.
“She was hospitalized, the doctor said she have hepatitis B” I announced “What!! Lead the way” she said and leave her snack while I followed her. Few minutes later we were in the doctor’s office. “Doctor,doctor please tell me is my daughter okay? Mom asked.
“Sorry Mrs but she is in a critical condition, all you need is to deposit the money and treatment will commence immediately” the doctor said.
I walk out of the hospital pacing around the street.
Where am I going to find that amount of morning?
Which job am I going to do to earn that amount in a day?
A sport car stopped on front of me to reveal a lady with sunglasses on.
“Longest time Kierra” she said and remove her glasses.
“Nicole” I shouted.
She came down from the car and hugged me.
“So tell me, what are you doing here all alone where is your twin sister? She asked.
I told her everything and sigh.
“Seriously Nicole where am I going to get 100,000 USD in a day? I asked
“You are my friend Kierra, its good meeting you after all this years don’t worry you can still save your sister” she said and I stare at her.
“Really? But how” I asked
“Enter the car, I’ll show you” she said
