I woke up to the loud sound of the alarm, my head hurts badly.. I need to sleep some more

 

 

 

And guess what today is? Prom if course

 

 

 

I am the most happiest person alive right now, I don’t want this moment to end

 

 

I stood up sluggishly from my bed as I wore my slippers, I plunged in my headphones as I walked downstairs

 

 

 

The first person I saw was Ray’s mom and my mom, of course they have become best friends over the month

 

 

 

“Good morning mom’s” I said loudly

 

 

 

“Oh good morning darling” my mom replied with a wicked wink

 

 

 

I removed my headphones as I say in between my mom and rays mom

 

 

 

“Wassup ladies” I said as I wrapped my hands around their neck

 

 

 

“Where is everybody”? Asked not waiting for the first answer.

 

 

 

Rays mom : well, ray is in the practice room with Becky while Promzy, Jenny, Rhett and David went out to buy the house needs

 

 

 

The moment I heard Becky’s name, an usual anger formed up in my stomach, I hate it when ever I see her with ray

 

 

 

But what can I do about that anyways, I don’t wanna cause my mom more pain, if Becky is gonna have ray then so be it

 

 

 

Ray is also a frustrated human being, he enjoys Becky’s company tho…

 

 

 

Like he always says ” Becky isn’t the bad guy here, she’s just been influnced by her evil dad, all she needs now is love, care and attention, she doesn’t even have a woman to call her mother ” bla bla bla….

She almost made me go insane just because of what?

My mom noticed my heavy face, she hit me slightly as I woke up from my thoughts

 

 

 

“Skyler are you okay?” Rays mom asked as she patted my hair

 

 

 

Ma, can I ask you something? I said as j adjusted my little butt on the sofa

 

 

 

Yes you can”, she replied still patting my head like that of a little bunny

 

 

 

Why is ray so attached to Becky, like why does he feel sorry for her? And they look pretty close . I asked

 

 

 

Ray’s mom : well Skyler, the truth is that, when rays girlfriend died, Becky consoled him a lot, not because she cared actually, but because of her own selfish reasons

 

 

 

So you see, Dats why ray still feel for her, but on the other hand, ray doesn’t see that Becky is just using her, Becky is a evil soul with an angel face

 

 

 

Am still gonna let them stick together because if rays upcoming concert and today’s prom

 

 

 

Skyler : like I care

 

 

 

I stood up as I looked at the clock, its 10am already.

 

 

hey Skyler, we are going out aiit? We will be back soon, pls don’t leave the house” my mom said as she slammed the door behind her and rays mom.

 

 

 

This is the worst day of my life.

 

 

 

I can’t believe that am stuck at home with ray and Becky practicing upstairs

 

 

 

Now I see, ray is a celebrity and so is Becky and so i am. But the difference between us is that, my fans don’t know my face

 

 

 

A lot of people pretend to be me on many occasions but the steps are just different.

 

 

 

Once I reveal my identity after prom, Becky is so dead. She’s gonna regret why she messed with me in the first place

I dropped my glass of wine as I walked upstairs, I walked gently towards the practice room

 

 

 

All I could hear was a slow music, uhmm it doesn’t seem like any practice is going on in there

 

 

 

I finally stood in the front of the big white glass. With my hopes high? Or low?

 

 

 

My folded hands dropped besides me.

 

 

 

Everything around me became silent.

 

 

 

Its like I could hear the sound of the clock on the wall ticking slowly in my ear

 

 

 

Yea, I know what this this, whenever am shocked I can’t breath well.

 

 

 

I moved my hand slowly up to my head as I removed my headphones

 

 

 

Am I really in shock right now? Or am just pissed off.

And Becky is a goat.

 

 

 

They stopped kissing and romancing as my eyes met with ray

 

 

 

He wasn’t shocked either, it felt like nothing is happening and nothing is gonna happen.

 

 

 

He drew Becky closer to himself as he kissed her again. I thought I was going to cry after five minutes

 

 

 

But he just made it clear to me that Becky is the one he chooses.

 

 

 

I turned around slowly as I walked into my room and I slammed the door behind me.

 

 

 

I added a security code, I plugged in my headphones as I closed my eyes deeply.

I opened my eyes, I feel tired, its like I have been sleeping for ages

 

I raised my body sluggishly from the bed, its 4pm. Almost time for prom

 

 

 

Ain’t going to this prom, everything is fucked up, after all ray is going to prom with Becky

 

 

 

A heard a loud knock on my door, I kept silent but it continued, the person switched to the door bell

 

 

 

The banging continued, the way it sounded, I think like four persons are banging on the door

 

 

 

“Skyler are you there?”

 

 

 

baby please open the door”…

 

 

 

baby mama is here for you”…

 

 

 

Aissshh that is my mom, gosh she gets easily tensed up and scared

 

 

 

I stood up as I walked towards the door, I opened it with my passward

 

 

 

The door opened as everybody came running inside….

 

 

 

They all look miserable

 

 

 

My mom, rays mom, jenny, Promzy, David and Rhett

 

 

 

“Why are you guys banging on my door like the world is about to end?” I asked cleaning my eyes with my shirt

 

 

 

“Skyler you got us scared, we have been looking for you since morning” Promzy said

 

“You haven’t eaten anything this morning, you look so pale and weak” my mom added

 

 

 

Its alright guys, I just wanted to be alone and get some rest I said with a faint smile

 

 

 

“Gosh, you scared us to death my Mon said as they all walked out of the room”

 

 

 

“Hey David come carry me downstairs ” I said like a baby

 

 

 

He bent over as he carried me in his back, we all went downstairs.

 

 

 

He dropped me in the big dinning table, we all were sitting down already, eating laughing and talking.

 

 

 

Promzy and the guys made me feel alive again, including my mom and rays mom.

 

 

 

Ray climbed down with Becky

 

 

 

Ohh, they were still practicing all these while, ray sat beside my mom and Becky beside me which is close to Becky

 

 

 

She didn’t even greet my mom or rays mom. I forgot how rude she is

 

 

 

There was a funny silence in the table. Like the angel of death just arrived

 

 

 

I feel pissed offed, I lost appetite.

 

 

 

“Skyler please pass me the butter”. Uhh?? I raised my head to see Becky strecting her hands

 

 

 

I gave her a deadly glare. Ray stood up and passed the butter to her

 

Fantastic!

 

 

 

let’s get prepared, we will be going to school soon, remember we are to get dressed in school” Rhett said cheering his bread

 

 

 

Becky is coming with us” ray said almost immediately.

 

 

 

I bursted out in a loud laughter, Promzy and he guys couldn’t control theirs either. Aiish Becky looks so miserable right now

 

 

 

We died the laughter, I dropped my spoon as I stood up. I don’t know what is wrong with me now

 

 

 

But I feel evil today

 

 

 

I ran upstairs, I carried my bags and my costumes and came downstairs, the guys were ready

 

 

 

We all went outside as we hopped into the car which looks like a house.

 

 

 

Ohh what is it called. A limousine with a bug space. I sat in my own corner as I observed ray and his lover

 

 

 

All I am anticipating for now is rays concert, I might change my mind that day and do something I don’t wanna do

 

 

 

Something I have been hiding for ages now

 

 

 

It wasn’t too long, we got to school, the whole place is filled with lights and student, the evening air welcomed us

 

 

 

The party is about to kick off

 

 

I and the girls walked towards the girls dorm, I unveiled my pink hair, I died it last night. About to look like a queen.

 

 

 

We went into the dorm, I wore my long pink trouser and its little top, I wore a necklace ray bought for me

 

 

 

It means nothing tho, I just wanna shine on it, I wore my black long heels and added a little lipstick

 

 

 

I look like the queen of england but a bit more extra sexy

 

 

 

We could hear the sound of the speakers already the party just started.

 

 

 

We walked to the entrance where our arrival will be announced. You know a boy and a girl

 

 

 

And at the ending the king and queen of prom will be announced

 

 

 

But am not going in with anybody, am going alone. It took about eight minutes and everybody was inside the hall, people clapped and cheered their elegant dressings most especially ray and Becky

 

 

 

I was the last person standing.

 

 

 

I heared my name in the loud speakers, “Skyler pimenova”

 

 

 

I stepped into the hall swinging mh long hair left and right, the reaction of the people is something I can’t explain

My glasses slipped off my hands at the sight of Skyler, the most gorgeous woman I have ever seen today.

 

 

 

Her sparking eyes and light skin. The crowd couldn’t control their selves, everybody wants to take a picture of her

 

 

 

I should have been the man with her tonight but but but…….
