Still on high speed, they ran into the hands of police
mens
who wave at them to stop. one of the police men went
to them.
“Good day sirs”
“Good day. so can I see your booth”
“Nothing
is inside the booth. Me and my friends, we’re just taking
a
ride round the area” replied one of them.
“I said
can I see your booth?” the officer requested again. one
of
them brought out some money stretching it to the officer.
“Please have this” He stretched it and the officer became
annoyed.
“I said can I see your booth. all of you come down” He
commanded.
they whispered to each other.
“Ok sir, no problem” They came out and pretended as
if
they want to open the booth and ran into the bush
ignoring
the weeds that was slashing on them. The police mens
ran
after them but, luckily for them. They managed to
escape.

Standing before Mr. Richard was the guns men who
he
gave the assignment. He was shouting at them disappointedly jumping up and
down in his veranda.
“Idiots. Simple assignment you cannot execute, and
you
called yourself professionals” Mr. Richard shouted at
them.
“We’re sorry chief” One of them apologized.
“You’re sorry.
you’re sorry! do you know that the police are holding
one
of my cars. what if they start investigations. I’m in for
trouble right?” mr. Richard shouted.
“I will advice you to call the police and tell them that your
car
was stolen. that some group of boys stole your car.?” one
of them
said and Mr. Richard brought out his phone to call the
police.

“Are you that callous that somebody like me mean
nothing
to you? I’m ashamed to call you father” Shantel shouted
at her father.
“Shut up. Show some respect” Mr. Richard shouted back
at her.
“I will go to the police right now, I will tell them that, that
car
I used it this afternoon. I will tell them that I brought it
to
your office on your request and tell them that it was
never Stolen” shantel said.
“Shantel, I swear if you try that. you will be dead by
sunset.
Now get out” Mr. Richard shouted at her.
“You’re
so wicked. How I wish I could say I hate you”
“shantel
get out” Mr. Richard shouted. shantel opened the door
and left.

At Mr. Williams house.
Austin walked into the sitting room followed by shantel.
He
went and sat down on a cushion likewise shantel
as
one could see bruises all over Austin’s face.
“What
did he say when you said that to him?” Austin asked
faintly.
“He threatened to kill me” Shantel replied.
“This is serious. what if we go to the police and look
for
a diplomatic ways to make him approve us to marry.
what
do you think?” Austin asked.
“You don’t know who my father is. Is only by force
he
will allow us to Marry” Shantel replied.
“I hope there’s
a way. If he is a good Christian. what if we should go
and meet
his pastor to talk to him. I believe he will listen to his
pastor” Austin said.
“I pray so too” shantel replied.

AT REV. PASTOR LUCK OFFICE.
Mr and Mrs. Richard were seen seating opposite him
as
they waited anxiously to hear why they were summoned.
“After
listening to the both of them. I promised to invite you,
so
that I can hear your own part of the story too. My chief,
why
are you against the already planned wedding?” pastor
luck asked.
“Pastor, that boy will never marry my daughter” Mr. Richard replied.
“Ah ah! but why?” Asked pastor luck.
“Because I don’t want him to marry my daughter, and,
as
long as I live. He will never marry my daughter” Mr. Richard replied.
“You are not sounding like a man I always known you
to be.
a good Christian and also, a good member of this church.
you’re also
kind my chief. what’s happening?” pastor luck asked
surprisely.
“Pastor, that boy brought out the worst in me that I
don’t
know that I have. He dares me, he dares me. I want you
to
also talk to them. Both of them, use the bible and let them
know
that what they are planning is absolutely impossible” Mr. Richard shouted and left with
his wife.
