…..In this world, a mother is the greatest warrior…..
Zoya POV
“You are mad!” Anant Desai shouted.
“Yes I am mad.” I agree with him nodding my head as I turn my head towards his direction. “But madly in love with your son.” I added staring at Harsha.
“You are a crazy lady.” Harsha said. “One of the finest gorillas I have ever set my eyes on, of course which is very rare, so go and look for your type cus I am not!” He yelled out.
“Hush down my love, you don’t need to be my type for me to love, I will make you my type.” I told him. He was getting angrier by the minute and I was soooo loving it. Anger made him more dashing handsome. I will have to be provoking him at any slightest chance. “Harsha means happy, be happy that a good thing is about to happen in your boring life darling.”
“Dad i-” Harsha began to say but got interrupted by his father.
“Harsha, be quiet and Zee get out of my house, you are no longer needed, I will look for someone else, I shouldn’t have given you the job so go back to Bombay.” Anant Desai said.
“Not going to happen Anant Desai, I was a homeless girl and you offered me a home and a job, you don’t expect me to leave my new heaven for hell, do you? I am not moving an inch from here. I will stay in your house as your new daughter in-law, let that start ringing in your head from now onwards.” I told him. “I have claimed him and there is no turning back.”
“Harsha, go to your room, right now.” He ordered his son who left after sending me a disgusting look and I smiling and winking at him before he walked up the stairs to his room leaving me and Anant alone.
Harsha Pov
I pretended I was going to my room but stop when I got to the top of the stairs, hidden away from the crazy girl view and my uncle. From where I was hiding, I would be able to hear their entire conversation even if they want to whisper.
Yes, he is not my dad but my uncle.
My dad and him were brothers before my dad was killed by an unknown thugs who raided our house when I was 6 years old, my mum had died a year after I was born and since I was an orphan, Anant Desai took me in. He was like a father figure to me and I grew up calling him ‘Dad’. He trained me in school and I came out with flying colors.
I am a medical doctor before my life made a turn around when Krishna Kaali walked into my life.
My uncle had sent for me one morning to follow him to the fortress so that Raveena Kaali would see me as he had heard so much about him, but unfortunately for me, his antelope of his daughter was with him.
She saw me and fell in love and then told her father about it.
My deceased girlfriend, Amita, wanted us to run away and I agreed to her suggestion only to wake up the next morning and her head was served to me in a tray made out of pure gold with a letter which reads:
I am always watching you Harsha
I was scared for my life and decided to accept her as my wife.
Krishna was a very beautiful lady with an innocent face and her innocent face often made people believe she was weak. Very wrong, she was deadly.
And now, this ape of a girl from nowhere wants to join Amita.
If Zee thinks she is crazy then she hasn’t met a crazier Krishna.
“Zee.” My uncle called out her name slowly. “Krishna is far more dangerous than you, she will kill you if she comes to learn of this.”
“Then tell her and let’s get over with this. I love your son, you should be happy that a potential bride wants to marry him.” She told my uncle.
She doesn’t know who Krishna is, somehow, Krishna always gets to know what’s happening in this house. It was as if she had a hidden camera all over the house to watch me.
As if on cue, my uncle’s phone rang, checking the name of the caller he gasped out aloud.
“Krishna is calling.” He said in fear. “Please leave right now before you end up dead.”
“Pick the call Anant Desai and stop being frightened like a chicken.” She told him.
On a normal day and time my uncle would have been offended but not now.
He picked up the call with shaking hands.
“Hello Krishna.” He said, trying not to sound afraid.
“Put the phone on loudspeaker now.” Krishna ordered my uncle and he quickly put the call on loudspeaker.
“Girl, I would advise you stay away from him to avoid you falling into my trap.”
Zee snorted. “I love falling into traps with style so please go ahead and set it and let’s see who gets killed first.”
“No one can kill me, not from front, not from back, not from right, not from left … not a man, not by woman, not an animal, not by weapons.” Krishna said softly. “I am warning you.”
Zee started laughing. “There is a warning on the cigarette packet, that the person smoking it is hugging death , but I’m different, I kill directly and never give a warning, try me Krishna.”
Krishna exhaled deeply. “When a hare is warned not to enter the lion den, it ignores the warning and walks right straight to death.”
“Then tell the hare to stay away from my den.” Zee said. “You said you can’t be killed right? But I am telling you right now, In life don’t underestimate three things….I, Me and Myself! If you think you are bad, then I am your mum.”
Zee grabbed the phone from my uncle’s hand and ended the call.
I was shocked to my bones as I stared at her, she really has some guts.
